Getting started

Set up Zorro on Windows and reach an attached client without guessing what each screen is waiting for.

Before you start

  • A Windows PC and a supported Minecraft 1.8.9 client.
  • A Zorro account with an active subscription.
  • Administrator access for installation and Windows' permission prompt.

Download and install

  1. Open your download page
Sign in at Account → Download. Downloads require an active subscription.
  2. Download for Windows
Select Download for Windows, then open the downloaded installer.
  3. Approve the Windows prompt
Confirm the User Account Control prompt. If you decline it, the installer cannot make changes and Zorro will not be installed.
  4. Finish installation
Keep the default installation folder unless you have a specific reason to change it, then launch Zorro.

Expected result: Zorro opens to sign-in or restores your existing session.

Prepare Windows Security

Zorro's engine attaches to another process. Security tools can classify that behavior as suspicious and quarantine the engine even when the installer itself completed successfully.

  1. Open Virus & threat protection
In Windows Security, open Virus & threat protection, then Manage settings.
  2. Add the install folder as an exclusion
Under Exclusions, choose Add or remove exclusions → Add an exclusion → Folder, then select C:\Program Files\Zorro.
  3. Restore or reinstall if needed
If Defender already removed a file, restore it from Protection history or reinstall after adding the exclusion.

  1. Choose a sign-in method
Use Google or your Zorro email and password. Complete the browser flow if Zorro opens one.
  2. Wait for access verification
Zorro checks your account, subscription, app version, and linked device before starting its engine.

Expected result: The app shows Attach a client. If it shows an access or engine screen instead, use Troubleshooting.

Attach your first client

  1. Start Minecraft first
Open one of the supported clients and wait until its Minecraft menu is ready. It may stay in the background; it does not need to be focused.
  2. Select Attach a client
Zorro discovers running clients automatically. Select the matching client card to begin attachment.
  3. Wait for the completed state
Do not close either program during injection. Zorro shows progress and then cross-fades into that client's Modules view.
  4. Enable only what you intend to use
Modules start off by default for a new user. Open a module, review its settings, and enable it deliberately.

Expected result: The selected client appears in Zorro's navigation and its modules can be configured.
